Numbers have always brought me clarity—now I use them to bring clarity to others.
From solving puzzles as a kid to providing mission-critical insight in the military to supporting business owners today—I’ve always used numbers to bring clarity, direction, and results.
Nikola Philpott | Founder, Tracer Financial Solutions
I didn’t set out to become a bookkeeper. But looking back, the pieces were all there.
Growing up in Oregon with an accountant for a father, I learned early on that staying organized with your finances wasn’t just about numbers—it was about creating options, building stability, and making thoughtful decisions. While most kids dreaded math, I actually liked it. It felt like solving puzzles, and over time, numbers became a tool I used to bring order, insight, and confidence to the world around me.
That foundation stayed with me as I moved through new experiences. I spent 13 years on the volleyball court, eventually playing Division I at Utah State University. That experience shaped how I show up today—it taught me discipline, focus, and the value of working toward a shared goal. After college, I served in the U.S. Marine Corps, where I sharpened my analytical thinking and deepened my commitment to structure, consistency, and follow-through. I’ve also lived abroad, explored different cultures, and now call Tucson, AZ home—experiences that broadened how I see the world and strengthened my appreciation for different perspectives and the value every person brings to the table.
Starting Tracer Financial Solutions was my way of bringing all of that together to support others. I know how overwhelming it can be to keep up with financial data while trying to run a business. My goal is to bring calm to that chaos—not just by cleaning up the books or tracking expenses, but by helping you truly understand your numbers and use them to move forward with confidence.
Whether you’re behind, feeling stretched thin, or looking for deeper insight into your financials, I’ll meet you where you are. I’ll track the details, translate the data, and provide steady, strategic support to help you stay focused on what matters most.
